Yellow Ribbon Classic Car Cruise
Yellow Ribbon Classic Car is an effort to promote, fund and obtain a
visible tribute memorial on the Highway of Heroes - Trans Canada
Highway #401 by classic car enthusiasts in conjunction with the
Port Credit Royal Canadian Legion - Col Alex Thomson Branch #82
located 35 Front Street, Mississauga Ontario.

The Memorial
Ideally, a bronze statue of the "Soldier's Cross" also known as
"Battle Cross".   A fixed bayonet rifle struck into the ground with
the soldier's helmet atop the stock and boots at the base symbolizing
the last march to battle.
Our wish is to place the memorial  along the Highway of Heroes,
visible to passing motorists with the ability for those that wish to
stop and pay tribute to do so in a safe manner.

The Cruise
The 4th Annual Battle Cross Classic Car Cruise took place on
12 May from The Fifties' Diner in Oakville to the Canadian Warplane
Heritage Museum in Hamilton,Ontario.
The Classic Cars displayed yellow ribbons during the  rolling cruise
showing their support of Our Troops and for their safe return home.
A great day at a great place was had by all.

Yellow Ribbon Cars were at 2010/2011 Port Credit Paint the Town Red -
Canada Day Parades and are back again for the 2012 Parade.
A Classic Car Show n' Shine in Port Credit Arena lot to follow.
